He earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) in 2015. An active member of the Association Executives of North Carolina (AENC), Jerel joined the Board in 2016 and served as President for the 2020-21 year.
Jerel has dedicated his career to empowering organizational leaders to advance their missions and elevate their professions. Aside from that, he cherishes time with his wife, Deborah, and their daughter, Maliah.
